The Science of Movement, The Art of Teaching

Hi, I’m Katie! With a passion for movement that stems from years as a ballet and competitive dancer, I truly believe in the art of expression through motion. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) for 8+ years and a Balanced Body comprehensively trained Pilates Instructor,  my background is rooted in a deep understanding of human anatomy and the intricate mechanics of healthy, optimal movement. This unique blend allows me to guide you with precision, ensuring every move you make is not only effective but also incredibly safe for your body. I’ve spent over 5 years teaching group fitness, including energizing Barre and transformative Pilates classes. Come discover the joy, power, and personalized care that will empower you to move with ease and feel fantastic.

Our Mission

Provide a safe and effective Pilates experience led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, combining exercise science with mindful movement to build functional strength and support lifelong wellness.

Our Vision

Redefine fitness by integrating the precision of rehab principles into accessible, sustainable and transformative Pilates workouts.

What is "Functional Fitness"?

It’s not about looking a certain way; it’s about feeling a certain way. It’s the strength to lift your groceries, the flexibility to play with your kids, and the stability to enjoy your favorite hobbies without a second thought.

Why a DPT Matters for Pilates

Imagine a workout where you never have to second-guess your form.  DPTs have thousands of hours of clinical training in anatomy and rehabilitation.  This clinical insight provides real-time adjustments, protecting you from injury while ensuring every exercise is as powerful and beneficial as possible.

While it’s led by a Physical Therapist, it’s a fitness-forward class. You don’t need a prescription. It’s the perfect step-down from formal Physical Therapy or step-up for anyone who wants smarter exercise.
